  1. I hope you can help me. I am doing extensive research on my family history and came across my Great Uncle Milo Delos Warner. It was said that he moved to Alaska and in 1899 he was lost at sea Klondike, Alaska. I have researched old newspapers, ancestry, and google only to find nothing to confirm that. I found this website and was excited that it may confirm it but sadly nothing. Maybe I am not looking correctly or missed something. Can you please help me to confirm this. Thank you for your time.

    1. I do not see a name in our files that matches or is similar to Milo Delos Warner. Also, as far as I am aware, there is no Klondike, Alaska. The Klondike region of northwest Canada is inland so it is unlikely someone was lost at sea there. There were many who drowned during the Klondike goldrush, in the rivers, so that may be what happened. I did find a newspaper article from March 1898 with an M D Warner on board the steamer Navarro headed to Skagway and Dyea. That may have been your great uncle.
