Alaska Commercial Fishing and Other Maritime Losses of 2010

August 18, 2010     A 39 year old male died aboard the 180 foot catcher processor American No. 1 of an unknown medical problem 90 nautical miles east of Dutch Harbor.

September 7, 2010     A 32 year old male crewmember was found unconscious and unresponsive in the fish hold of the fishing vessel Siberian Sea. CPR was conducted by the crew but they were not able to revive him.

September 12, 2010     A 26 year old male was lost in the Nushagak River from the fishing vessel Meshik Wolf. The crewman fell overboard near Portage Creek while on a moose hunt.
